Hi, I'm using the play functionality of the adobe air sound framework as per the examples
var req = new air.URLRequest("bigSound.mp3"); var snd = new air.Sound(req); var channel = snd.play();
But neither the stop() nor the close() methods stop the playing sound. Anyone knows what may be my problem? Thanks
Calling stop on the SoundChannel object (n
ot the Sound object) is supposed to stop the sound.
Are you calling channel.stop()?
No, I was calling stop on the sound object not on the channel, according to the documentation there is a STOP method on the sound.
Anyway, I started calling stop() on the channel and it's working ok now.
There's no Sound.stop() method. Where did you see this in the docs? (I'd like to correct them.)
