Supporse i have a serie of cartoon draw images and i would like to import them into AE as a single sequence to deal with it, specially with its "timing".
What are the procediments to do that? Just Time Remapping?
Just to be clear: a character walks a little, then stops, then return to walking. If i want to sustain the moment it is stopped, Time Remapping is the best way,
if i want to keep all in a single layer?
(i really would like to know another way, since image seems to be affected by Time Remapping and some "flicker" seems to appear...)
thanks for the attention.
What do you mean when you say "flickering" and where do you see this "flickering" (render, RAM preview, etc.)? I've seen people use it to mean luminance values going up and down, image disappearing and reappearing, motion going back and forth, a rendered video playing back stutteringly and more.
If you've imported your images as an image sequence (and have made sure that AE is interpreting it as the same frame rate as your composition, I don't see any issues with using time remapping.
You could also define comps with the three actions and blend them as you see fit.
