    Hosting flash player in webbrowser

I apologize if this is not the right forum for my question, but I cannot find anything else and I'm not familiar with flash at all. Still I hope some flash expert will answer my question. I'm coding application for windows which is hosting microsoft webbrowser control (IE engine). It can display web page which contains flash player opening 3rd party swf file which creates connection back to server and POSTs data (uploadoing file). Is there some way how can I detect when the connection is created and closed? I need to know when the upload is finished. What method is flash using to make connections? It seems it is not wininet, because my http protocol hook is not called. Thank you.
