I do not do Flash, but I believe the answer to your question is "no".
What are you trying to acheive?
Finally I got your attention. It is my lucky day. Been reading your success stories all over the forum. Thanks for your help to all of us thirsty for solutions. You are rock and roll.
I am trying to load a swf with a login page and once login succedes I load a new swf file in to the login swf. In Flash this is done with
loadMovie("movie.swf",_layer). If you chose layer =0 you actually overwrite the original swf completely.
Thank you for your time.
Apologies for the typo on your name, I was writing Tracy and not TZracy.
Sure, that's an easy one.
To load a SWF, you use SWFLoader! Seriously! There are a few issues with working with loaded swfs, mostly to do with data types and timing. Here is an example, built on the example in the documentation, that loads a swf and then communicates with methods/properties in that loaded content.
Download it and run it, then look through the fairly well commented code.
Don't worry, i make ypos all the time!
You are a queen.
