What has happened? I have encoded via EXPORT MEdia to .wav and .mpg etc. many times before. NEver had a problem. Now it hangs up at 0% encoding dialog. IT just is not encoding. I cannot export a single movie. I looked throughout the forum to find similar issues. I used Primere 1.5 for years. HAve been using Cs5 for about a month. Exported a dozen using Cs5 so far. What is happening?

Anything specific you can recall doing right between the time when it was working to the very second it stopped working?
Have you tried opening Media Encoder by itself then Fille>Add Premier Pro Sequence?
Any new media that you might have introduced(maybe something corrupted)?
It's always good to give at least a semi detailed description of your workflow before and up to the point that your problem started.

Have you installed the Premiere Pro CS5 (5.0.2) update? That update fixes a lot of problems.
