Hi all. I am planning to build a school management app with
Flex but we are worried about file sizes of the generated swf.
For example, we would like to have the grid code downloaded
just once and not every time we download a new flex swf that uses a
grid component. Is there some way to do that?
I think the bottom line question is "Which is the best way to
structure a full blown Flex app in order to get a modularized,
bandwidth conscious web app?
Thanx in advance
Thanx. I read the docs and seems like a good choice. But I
still think Flex is missing some way to load Flex components just
once like you do with other RIA frameworks (Example: Extjs which
lets you import your grid code just once and then use it as many
times as you need thanks to browser cache).
What happens if I use a button component in 40 modules? Does
it gets downloaded 40 times? If that's the case, any idea on how to
Thanx in advance...
