First of all I'm really a newbie so please excuse my beginner mistakes.
I have a product catalogue in 7 different languages.
All products are formatted the same (Title, description, picture, daughter-articles, price) in a large text-block throughout the document.
I would like to have a script (or a way of exporting?) that gives me all the data in a csv-file (or similar) so I can make a nice import to my mysql-database?
I would really appreciate some hints on how to do this.
It's possible to do this.
Do you want someone to make the script for you? Then you should ask for that and the person doing the scripting needs a copy of the indesign file in question.
If you want to do the scripting yourself you need to ask more specific questions.
In seeking a solution to exporting my Indesign data to CSV Files, i came accross on this subject, you say that it's possible but, can you tell more about that ? I have the same problem that @Mattias Cederlund.
