I mistakenly posted this question on the Premier Pro CS4 and below area. I am actually using Premier Pro CS5 so I am reposting it here:
Hello, have a problem where my exported video has a flickering line on the top most section.
I did notice this flickering line when previewing the footage while editing the video. I though that was just normal behavior when editing so I did not pay much attention to it. However, the flicker also appeared on the exported video.
I am using the AVHCD 720p setting for the project and the export file is using the 720p HD H.264 preset. My question is, aside from cropping the output, is there any way to resolve this issue?
Decided to just use the crop tool when exporting the video. Cropping 1 pixel from the top of the frame fixed the flicker issue.
I have not noticed such with my solid state Canon Vixia, but back when I used a tape camera I had an alignment issue a couple times with flickering at top or bottom
For the family movies I was doing, I just popped the 8mm cassette out and back in so the tape would re-load and shot again
