Read through all the forums and so far no solution to this problem. A link was posted and apparently that worked but now its unavaliable.

Any ideas?

I had this problem and error message activating Digital Editions on my computer running Windows Vista and Firefox 3.6. When I switched Web browser to IE 8, then the activation went smoothly. I also allowed Digital Editions as an exception through the Windows Firewall.
