Ok... a friend of mine said I could do this, and I'm wondering if I can get some input on his suggestion, cause I don't see how it would work.
He said that since MAC systems are now Intel based, I could install OSX on my BOXX system (Intel i7-920, Asus P6T6 WS Revolution, 12GB RAM, Gigabyte GTX285, assortment of SATA2 7200 drives). He suggested doing a dual boot with Win 7x64 which I currently run. Would that work???
Try it and you know it, but why anybody would willingly try to use OSX when Win7 works, is beyond me. It is like have an 8 cylinder engine and willingly turn off 4 cylinders, that is about the benefit of OSX with the lousy multi-threading.
completely pointless for Adobe. do you need to have access to FC as well?
but yes you can do it. google hackintosh
THanks, Harm... And I agree--with Win 7 the last thing I want to do is move to a Mac. Back in Vista I could have been easily persuaded, but not now. I was just curious!
