Has anyone got anything nice to say about how CS5 PP works or are there always going to be problems ?
PS .I will wait till all these issues get cleaned up , if ever? The old PP is still working very well on the latest i7 Xeon 64 bit,I have no issues there except a bit of speed.
I think that you are missing out on an awesome release of PPRO (CS5) due to your procrastination.
I have got plenty to say good about it. For me it is largely issue and problem free ...and it is as stable as "all get out"
And a good amount of the troubles you might encounter can be solved with some good old uncommon common sense.
Unlike with me and cs4.......>_> gotta check that post over the forum comments forum to see if i've got any help with fixing my account...
Adobe-Admin (usually John there) can usually fix accounts. He was active there last week, but have not seen him around today. I'd give 'em a bit of time.
Good to hear somthing positive , you are right of course, but, that Canon 5D Mark II H.264 mov freezing in CS5 is very odd from other participant, it even works in Premiere Elements 4 ?
I have had no issues with footage from a colleagues 5D.
Everything absolutely positive about CS5 from my POV
Well that is good news, appears the software may not be problem, but, computer issues.
Ps.Last year shot much high definition out of a Canon 5D mark II in your south island in and around Mt Cook,Wanaka,Treble Cone, Queenstown simply stunning and edited in the old PP Exported to tape and Blu-Ray.Also, Christchurch hope the quake did not do too much damage.
