Sorry if asked before -- Is there a way to update many images to the newer process without having to open each individually?
Just highlight all the images that you want to update. Make sure that Auto-sync is active. Then switch to the 2010 process in the file that has the main focus.
I was thinking Lightroom's Auto Sync (Option-click on Synchronize button), Option-click to get the same behavior with ACR?

Assuming you re using Camera Raw 6.2 or above, you can create a Camera Raw Preset setting ONLY the Process version subset. Once created, you can apply that preset from within Bridge to as many images as you select.
