Hi, I followed all the latest tutorials on connecting Flash Builder burrito to PHP web services. I had no problems. The tutorials were well done.
Now I want to make my first Android app and connect it to a PHP web service.
My question that I have, is there a way to have the user keep their username and password saved locally on the phone so there wouldn't have to log in each time they run the app? Would I just use an XML file or would I have to use SQL Light or some other format?
Moved from Flash Builder to Flex.
mikob, what is your question? ARe you using Flash Lite on the phone? If so, I know Flash/Flex has a way to save user config (like cookie): shared object. If you are coding in Java/Android then you can also save user information a couple of ways. i think the easiest is to save to a local config file. I forgot exactly what they call it in 'droid. Its encrypted per your app cert I think. It's easy to do. I remember there was some "gotcha" with loading null/missing (but isn't this always the case with these platforms and frameworks!)
