Bill Hunt Nov 2, 2010 8:59 AM (in response to gtacyclist)Thank you for the link. I got most of the way though it, but then got sidetracked on the Corsair self-contained liquid cooler, and need to go back and finish. Like reading on a subject in an encyclopedia - along the way, you find other interesting topics, that "need" exploring...

gtacyclist Nov 2, 2010 6:05 PM (in response to Bill Hunt)One of the comments had a link to this excellent article (IMHO) on choosing the right Video Card for CS5:
http://www.studio1productions.com/Articles/PremiereCS5.htm
Had I read that article before hand, I would probably have sprung for a GTX 460 instead of a GTX 470. Apparently the rumor is PPro CS5 uses only around 100 CUDA cores anyways (as of 5.0.2) so getting anything higher than a 460 might not be cost effective.
