    Puppet Effect


      Can you add the puppet effect to a whole composition without it breaking the composition  into individual components? I trying to animate a flock of duck wavy though the area, and i was going to use puppet effect make that wave. Let me know if it is a better way to do this. Thanks!

          You can by simply pre-composing, but that kinda defeats the purpose, as the mesh in no way would represent any distinct feature edges and be pretty uniform. additioanlly, you wouldn't want to distort your ducks, would you not? So annying as this may be, animating things individualyl is pretty much the only way to get this working in a decent manner. You might be able to minimize the effort by linking a few of the ducks to the pins using pickwhip expressions, but that may not always be possible...
