I am using Flex 3 but now I'm doing Flex 4 migration using Flex 3 compatibility mode. I found that when I call for a popup from the main mxml, the popup appears but the problem is, it displays the other way around or should I say the popup flipped backward(it is not displayed upside-down nor sideways but more to inverted back to front or mirror image). I checked all the properties but none were related. I port the app back to Flex 3 SDK and it displays the popup correctly. I searched everywhere but seems like I need to make a new thread here. The popups includes TitleWindow and also Alert box. I am using Flex SDK 4.1. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot.
we had this issue on our project as well so i can confirm it.
we couldn't determine why it happened and our solution ended up just having to invert them again, .....inverting the inverted image...
very messy stuff
I believe this is a bug. See past threads on setting layoutDirection="ltr"
in the global CSS selector.
Thanks for the comments. Indeed, as harUI said, this issue had been reported as bug. Here is the link on the workaround. Hope this helps people out there who is still scratching their head. http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/SDK-26940
