I'm looking to take advantage of these new P2P capabilities for my next game project, but I'm curious as to whether or not I should continue using RTMFP. I am somewhat confused about the situation with the Cirrus RTMFP server; Will it be free to use forever, or will it be there only for beta purposes? If the server IS brought down after the beta is over, or if Adobe decides to use that RTMFP server as a paid service, what kind of money are we talking about? Would FMS be my only option at that point? Would future open source solutions for a RTMFP server be viable or allowed?
I'm not building anything serious or "enterprise-wide'. It's obvious that I just want to take advantage of the UDP connection.
