    Inserting/Overlaying a template with JS

First, sorry for being a little vague on the title.  What I'd like to do is be able to create an overlay of a letterhead.  I'd like to be able to make this file transparent and overlay it on existing PDFs.  Basically, my company changed its logo, and it's become my task to update the 600+ forms that we print on a daily basis.  I'm hoping to be able to clean these forms of logo information, and apply this overlay so it's a single file to change in the future.  I'm fairly sure there is a way to do this with JavaScript, but I'm not entirely sure how.

Ideally, it'd be one transparency with our logo in a header and our address in the footer, which would then just be layered over all of our forms.

I'm using Acrobat Pro v.9 on an XP machine, and I've done some research on Google and here.  The closest I can find to what I'm after is this: http://forums.adobe.com/message/2768068#2768068 , but it hasn't any solid information on the actual process.  I know Illustrator provides similar functionality for mapping and GIS based on this video:

Hopefully someone here can shed some light on it, and a thousand thanks in advance if anyone can.

      Best,

      A.
