The only way, other than using something like the vList xtra which implements a concatenation method, is to iterate one of the lists adding elements to the other:
firstList = ["one", "two", "three"] secondList = ["four", "five", "six"] desireResultList = duplicate(firstList) repeat with anItem in secondList desireResultList.append(anItem) end repeat
Thanks, that is what I was doing. I just get this paranoid feeling sometimes that I am doing things the hard way. At least you confirmed that this is par-for-the-course.
