    set backgroundAlpha on the ActionBar

    ghess01

      Hi All,

      Just getting started on first mobile app...Cant seem to figure out how to set the backgroundAlpha on the ViewNavigators  ActionBar. I would like that nice semi transparent look.

      Any help much appreciated.

          You can style it via CSS like this:

          <s:MobileApplication xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"

                               xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"

                               firstView="views.Test">

              <fx:Style>

                  @namespace s "library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark";

                  s|ActionBar {

                      backgroundAlpha: 0.2;

                  }

              </fx:Style>

          </s:MobileApplication>

          But you might actually be interested in the overlayControls property on View as it will overlay the ActionBar on top of the view content below rather than position it above the content:

          <s:View xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"

                  xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark" overlayControls="true" title="Home">

              <s:actionContent>

                  <s:Label text="Hello" />

              </s:actionContent>

              <s:Button label="Content" width="100" height="100" />

          </s:View>
