    CS5 page curl direction/speed

    cj_mcmillen Community Member

No matter what I try, I can't seem to activate the page curl options (direction or speed) after I apply the "Page Turn" feature (to the first page, no other animations on it) from within InDesign. I know I can also have a page curl via the export function, but I don't see any options to change the direction there, either.

      What am I doing wrong?

That's the only way to get the curl.

You cannot adjust anything because there are no options to change. To get a specific effect, you might try editing the SWF manually.

(On reading the Help it seems to me there are two "different" Page Curls; the one you select in the Transition panel, and another one in the SWF Export. Perhaps you need "the other one".)

But the Direction and Speed options are there under the Transitions drop-down menu. I'm 'assuming' both should be able to be applied to the Page Curl option because I saw an example that had the page turning from the top right corner, not bottom.

(Yes, I'm looking at the Page Transitions method for this, not upon export to SWF.)
