    Scaling project constraint - Minimal with and height of movie

    danielcote Level 1

      Hi,

      I'm using scaling contraint for components inside my panini project, but I want the whole Flash to stop scaling below a certain width and height of the movie.

      The best way to understand this is to go to the HBO website:

      http://www.hbo.com

      (Play with the width and height of the browser window and you will see at a certain point, the movie stop scaling and a browser scrolling appear.)

      Also, if you go to a page with more vertical content (click on 'video' link on top) you see a Flash scolling component appear at the right.

      I was wondering how to duplicate these behavior?

      Inside Panini setting, publish settings, Flex code ?

      Here is the html source for the flash call on HBO website using the swfobject:

      function renderFlash()

          {

                  var flashvars = {configDir: "/config/prod/"};

                  var params = {wmode:'opaque', align:'top', scale:'noscale', bgcolor:'#000000', allowFullScreen:'true', allowScriptAccess:'sameDomain', base:'web'};

              var attributes = {id: 'myContent',name:'myContent'};

              swfobject.embedSWF("/bin/siteMain.swf", "pageContent", "100%", "100%", "9.0.124", "utils/flash/expressInstall.swf", flashvars, params, attributes);

             // if (!swfobject.hasFlashPlayerVersion("9.0.124"))

             // {

             //     window.location = '/html/error/browser_error.html';

             // }

              JQ(".spacer").css("display", "none");

          }

      Thanks to all

          Hi,

              You can set "minWidth" & "minHeight" properties at Application level (first tag of Main.mxml) to desired value to achieve this.

              You will need to open your FXP file in FlashBuilder (File->Import Flash Builder project) to do this modification.

              Here is an example.

                      <s:Application xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
                             xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark" xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx"
                             minWidth="600" minHeight="400">

          Regards
