I'm currently using the CS3 product but I would like to upgrade to CS5. I have a box with an nVidea Quadro FX 4500 card. I see that this is not on Adobe's list of compatible cards.
I do very, very basic projects so I am wondering if anyone is using this card with CS5 and could tell me if it even works? I don't want to spend the money if I don't need to.
I would ask this in a HARDWARE forum if I could find one.
Yes, it will work. That compatibility list merely means that specific models have been tested by Adobe or NVidia/ATI in combination with Adobe software, but that does not mean otehrs will not work. Since there is about 500 new cards coming out every month, nobody can test them all. just make sure you are using a suitable driver.
