What OS? It sounds like it may be corrupt codec somewhere. Have you installed any third party codec packs (i.e., divx, xvid, etc...)?
Win 7. I can export QT and H.264 in Premiere until my hearts content, so I wouldn't imagine it would be a codec issue. It sounds like After Effects CS4 just chokes with H.264 material when it is original camera footage.
Here is an update to my last post. Anyone want to chime in on what could be causing this issue while exporting to an .avi? Thanks for the help!
Asus P5Q PRO MoBo
Corsair Dominator RAM 8GB DDR2 1066
Intel Q6600 OC'd to 3.0 GHZ
Intel 25X-M 80GB SSD (OS Drive)
RAID 0 (3 WD 75GB Raptors 10K RPM)
AE CS4 184.108.40.206
You know, I was meaning to check that after I had read someone else write the same thing. Let me check on that and get back to you after I run some additional tests. The issue only occurs while rendering, or exporting, so that very well could be the main issue. Thanks!
