I'm not sure what your left or right arrow keys do, but if you have a handler that traps them you can just execute this code when required (like when a cue point passes, or whatever). Alternatively, Buddy API's baSendKeys() might work for you.
I try to explain better.
I have a pdf (INM pdf xtra) inside a movie.
I need to browse the page when certain cuePointNames, inside a sound file, is passed.
You know that the right arrow browse the pdf pages forward.
Is there a code to do so without Buddy API's?
Something like this:
If sound(1).isPastCuePoint("Part2") then
Thank you again Sean.
Impressario has many commands for controlling the view of an Impressario sprite. You can set the current page like:
If you are doing anything reasonably complex with Impressario, I would recommend that you familiarize yourself with the help docs for that xtra. It can really do a lot, and is pretty easy to use.
Thank you Mike.
I don't know all the difference between "impresario" and "inm pdf xtra".
Do you mean that your help: "sprite("PDFSprite").page=2" works with "inm pdf xtra"?
I would like to ask you another question.
I need to encrypt the pdf and, at the same time, to have the possibility to browse the pdf inside a movie.
Do you have any suggestion?
Thanks you for your courtesy.

I don't use the PDF xtra, so I cant say for sure what its capabilities are. Check the docs... I'm sure they will say. But I do know that Impressario can do what you are asking.
I think that PDF Xtra requires that the end user has acrobat reader installed, and basically just opens the PDF in the reader on the stage in Director. Impressario does not require that the end user has anything preinstalled, and it can open password protected (not technically encrypted, but close enough) on the stage.
