I have made subtitles for a 2-hour film project in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 since I need them embedded in the video for a festival.
I still have the original video without any subtitles and would like to make subtitles in other languages that I could include in a DVD of the film, so that people can change them according to the language they understand best. For this, I suppose I will need to have subtitles in an .srt format or something similar.
Is there a way to use the already created subtitles in Premiere to make my life easier, instead of creating subtitles (with their times of start and finish) all over again in a different program? Thank you in advance.
A shot in the dark, and just an idea...
Maybe it exists a DVD ripping program that can make for example an avi file/copy with a selected subtitle burned in. Then you could make your DVD first, and then rip it.
