I am a Final Cut user switching to Premiere CS5 on a Mac. In FCP (an After Effects too), when you move the scroll wheel up and down on the mouse, it moves the timeline up and down so you can reveal more tracks. In Premiere, it scrolls the length of the timeline. Is there any way to see more tracks other than grabbing the bar at the end of the timeline?
I don believe that you can adjust that behaviour.
FWIW The scroll wheel has diffedrent behaviours in different windows /panes
eg the source and program monitors.
Also I sometimes hit the "tilde" key when cursor is hovered over the timeline so I can see more tracks in the timeline.
Try out tilde key on other windows / panes
If you place the pointer over the scroll bar to the right, then scrolling the wheel will do what you want.
