Ok, here is the setup, and please let me know if this doesn't make any sense.
I have imported and FXP from Catalyst. It consists of 2 top level pages, with each page consisting of various components with multiple states in each component.
What I would like to do is be on either of the 2 top level pages and be able to control which state is visible in the components on that page via keystroke. For example:
Page 1 contains 2 components; A and B. In each of those components there are states "Open" and "Closed". If I were to press key "Z", components A and B will switch from their closed state to their open state.
I am not really sure where to start in being able to build this functionality. I would very much appreciate any and all help!
Thanks in advance!
On creation complete of every component, I would listen to key_up event on systemManager. Listening event on systemMnager, would help you listen to all the key events in the application. Not only key, you can listen to any event if you are listening to it.
Thanks for that! Thats probably going to help with part of the solution. However, I think the more critical part is how can traget the states within the individual components on the page. Any ideas regaurding this?
