    Giving Interviewee Devil Horns??

    woodwizer Community Member

      Hi Guys

For a bit of fun I want to flash up some devil horns on an interviewee's head for literally the last second of the interview.  To set the scene, the event I shot was a competition where the judges play roles.  So this guy is purposely mean and condescending.  So we want to have a bit of fun with the audience and do something that kinda makes him look devil-like.

Any ideas?  The only think I can think of is to screen dump his headshot into Photoshop, draw the horns on a new layer, then import that layer back in and super impose it over the footage.  Is this the best way?

      Any help would be appreciated.

Either locate, or create the "devil's horns," and use those like a "logo." If necessary, knockout any background in Photoshop, or similar. Save in a format that supports Transparency, like PSD, TIFF or PNG. JPEG will NOT support Transparency. This can be done with Titler, where you just Import the "horns" image into Titler as a Logo. Place that Title on the Video Track above the interviewee Clip. Use the fixed Effects>Motion>Position and Motion>Scale to Scale and position the horns, as is necessary.

          Good luck,

            Thanks Bill.  As I thought.
