Try listening to ModuleEvent.ERROR. If you are using a module loader you can add a error listener like this:
Thanks for your feedback. Probably, I didnt explain my challenge right- am able to run the modules perfectly from the code in mxml/ as3.
I have challenges only when I try to execute the html wrapper over the swf- the modules don't get invoked (dont get any error either)
I read up on livedocs on the FlashPlayerTrust folder and a cfg file with directory to be trusted- hasnt helped me- same situation
Look again for some helpful pointers. Thanks
What is the base class of your module? Is it mx:Module? How are you getting an html wrapper for this module? Can you show a code snippet of how you launch a module.
I determined the cause of the issue- Release-Build is not creating all the required files (certain mxml module files mx:module) and xmls files in a sub-fiolder have not been included in the release build
Things work perfect if I copy contents from the bin-debug folder- but still need to figure why I am unable to use the optimized content from Release-Build
