Works from an XP machine as well. It even asks if I want McAfee...
Thank you, Claudio!
It even asks if I want McAfee...
It doesn't ask (or deliver) when you get it from http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/ (or the FTP site).
↑ Strike that (strikethrough does not work any longer in this forum); I just got the McAfee thing on that link as well...

It seems that a new version of Adobe Reader called 'X' (10.0.0.1) is available (Windows & Macintosh only).
Anybody knows what's new in that version?
New security holes to exploit, I guess... :-)

Pat, when did you forget about the ftp link?
Oh, I didn't, but sometimes it is more convenient to point to an actual website than an FTP site.
Anyway, this link lets you choose your OS and language version without having to navigate an FTP site: http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/ (and no McAfee and other dubious softwares either).
