Is that one question or two, steave?
As you can see from this discussion from Muvipix.com, that camcorder does have some challenges.
In 60p mode, it uses a proprietary system that most third-party editors, including Premiere Elements, have problems with.
Using the software that came with the camcorder to convert it to 60i seems to make it compatible.
I'm not sure why Panasonic decided to make its video format non-standard. But it looks like the easiest solution is to edit that 60p video pretty much only with the software they give you with the camcorder.
Thanks for that, so I need to make it to a regular 1080 to work I guess… interesting when I inserted the 1080/60p to Premiere Element 9 it seems to be going, I guess when I burn it to DVD or blue ray it will drop the 60p...maybe
now with question 2, any idea about Premiere Element 9 not allowing you to save your favorite transitions to 1 folder like the earlier versions.
The program no longer includes a Favorites option.
If you want to know why, I expect you'll need to talk to someone at Adobe.
