Use skin to the component. I'm assuming you are using the controlBar content. In skinclass you can change the position of the controlbar
i meant the skinclass... It isn't available for the WindowedApplication tag, sure for the application-tag but i am building an air-app :-(
Well, in that case you can go for the application control bar?
or use a panel inside the windowed app and skin it.
Jeah, using the mx:controlbar ist my emergency solution :-), hoped anyone had that problem too and know a nice workaround. :-)
The default Window and WindowedApplication skins don't have a control bar. This is filed as a bug here: http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/SDK-23900
Flash Builder will supress code hinting of the controlBarContent property, but if you create a custom skin that does have a controlBarGroup you can still take advantage of this functionality.
Attached is a sample WindowedApplicationSkin that can be used like this:
<s:Button label="test" />
<s:Label text="hello world" />
Thanks Shongrunden - this looks/works great! :-)
