is it precomposed? If so, just into that comp. is it text created in photoshop? You won't be able to edit that in After Effects.
Thanks Mike for responding. I don't know what: "is it precomposed? If so, just into that comp" mean. But all of it was created in PS. I can edit the text in PS, but, once I do that, how do I get the changes I've made in PS back into AF and still have it work? I thought once I hit saved in PS, my text would automatic change in AF since I open it up from AF.
Any help U or anyone can give, would be really helpful. Thanks again.
If you're not sure what a precomposition is, you might want to start here:
Otherwise, once you update and save a file in Photoshop, the changes will appear in After Effects. If they don't, Control click on the layer and select re-load footage. A text layer created in Photoshop won't be editable in After Effects, you have to open the file in Photoshop to change it.
Thanks Mike so much. I think I know where the problem is. That Temp is Locked and I can't save it in PS. When I tried to unlock it in "finder", it still wouldn't let me save it. I give up, I'll see if I can use another one. I wanted that one, because a client wants to start doing youtube videos and I wanted to do an intro. sense I'm still trying to learn AF, I thought this would buy me some time, until I'm able to fully play around with AF.
Thanks a bunch Sir.
