I have a regular mpeg2 video which i want to look like stop motion. I am a noob to Premiere and After Effects, so I have no idea how to do it. Ive been playing for hours and not getting anywhere. Is there a filter i dont know about (either in Premiere or that I can buy)?
If not, how do i go about doing it? If anybody could even point me in the right direction of a video or article if you dont want to explain id really appreciate it.
On aspect of making a live-action video look like stop-motion video is to play with the frame rate so that it looks more stuttery or jerky.
Also, because people tend to do a poor job of keeping lighting consistent for a stop-motion shoot, a way to make a video look like stop-motion is to have the brightness fluctuate a little, such as by animating the Exposure effect.
