I ran into an issue. I have a scene with a foreground that pans in one direction, and a background that pans in the opposite. Timewarp smooths the foreground just fine, but doesn't do anything to the background (it remains quite choppy).
Is there some Timewarp setting I can play with that should fix this? (AE runs too slow for me to even do much playing around, also because Timewarp has like 20 settings. It's easier to just ask if there's some known fix for this)
Play with the error threshold, block size and smoothing parameters. Though I would suspect you first need to check your footage interpretation and framerate settings, especialyl if you pre-comped. Technically, the effect idoesn't care what it processes, but naturally, different frame rates will yield different results. Likewise, using fields in one setting and not the other would cause differences...
Thanks! Indeed, Global Smoothness had to be 0, with Local Smoothness at 500.
