You are exporting your design as HTML and Images, which rasterizes text into the graphics.
Ideally you should be exporting your graphics ONLY from FW and then build your page using HTML and CSS in Dreamweaver.
HI Jim, I am exporting as CSS and images, which I thought exported
the text in editable format?
If your text is placed beneath image slices, FW will rasterize the text. If that's not the case, please give us a link to the original PNG file
You are right Jim, the text is underneath the image slice. I did think about that, and tried to bring the text to the top ( by using, arrange, bring to front). This obviously didn 't do the trick! How do you ensure your text sits on top? I did say I am a complete newbie and image slices, etc are a new area for me. Sorry to be a pain, but I hate to give in and am now just completely frustrated and stuck.
Thanks for your help.
You can't. Web objects are always at the top.
I recommend reading this series written by Dave Hogue:
I think you will find them very helpful.
Thanks Jim, I'll do that
