      Hi Guys

      1. I've been experimenting with my Sony Z1 and OL (CS4) on my laptop (details below). Although I get a good image as such, it is not very smooth and is very jumpy. That makes it a bit difficult to track what is really happening. I'm using only a 1.5 meter firewire. Is this normal or has anyone any ideas on how to solve the issue?

      2. On the subject of firewire, I've seen conflicting reports about the length. Some say length doesn't matter (perhaps I should re-phrase that) and others say you shouldn't use a cable more than 4.5meters (or that a repeater cable must be used). Can an experienced OL user advise please?

      Regards,

      Graham
