I just started working Premiere Pro on a 64 bit 12 RAM PC and it works fine. I have a problem though. There is no connection what so ever to my Sony HVR Z1 camera. Its not the camere or the cable because it works fine on my Mac. I tried a Panasonic HVX 200 on the PC and Premiere and it worked fine as well. So what do I do wrong since my PC and Premiere won´t connect?
Regards og hope you can help
In device manager check that the IEEE driver in use is the one with "Legacy" in the description. If that is already the case, carefully check your camera settings and try a different cable.
Also, see if one of these programs will work better for you
SD capture http://windv.mourek.cz/ or http://www.scenalyzer.com/main.html
Do note that the demo version of ScenalyzerLive puts a watermark in the files it creates
- I'm told that the OLD version is freeware... check the download page for details

It tried the first solution, and since I have a top camera and a top editing programme I would like to use them without any freeware in between. It sould be possible ... its top pro gear. Can it be a driver problem?
