Complete noob here, so go easy!
I have got Flash CS5 having used MX during my A-Levels (a while ago!) so I am pretty much relearning. I am trying to fade text in and 'explode' text.
I have created the word, broke the text, converted to symbols and distributed it to layers. I created a keyframe at 30 and moved the letters here off the stage, right-clicked between frame 1 & 30 and selected 'Create Motion Tween'. However when I play the text stays in the same place from frame 1 - 29 then jumps at 30?? What am I doing wrong? Is there some sort of order things need to be done in?
THanks for any help,
Oh, and if anyone could point me to some decent tutorials that would be great!
Regarding the motion, what's happening is that there is a new feature as of CS4 for motion. Tweens are not created the same way - you don't need to create a second full keyframing in this new model, you can take advantage of auto-keyframing. Create the motion first, then adjust along the tween span is one way to accomplish this.
