Create an FB project on fro remote development

Hi,

I have been working with ColdFusion for almost 9 years, but am new to Flash Builder development.  I have always used Dreamweaver for editing files and uploading them to the server using RDS.  I would prefer not to have to install the Cold Fusion server on my laptop.  Is there a way for me to create a flex project that connect to my server without having to share folders on the server and mapping drives to them on my laptop?

Any help would be appreciated.
