I've got some odd behavior happening in IE8 when viewing a flash rotator swf. It's a simple flash image rotator that uses png files and just cycles through each image to display them. When it goes from one image to the next there is a standard fading transition effect that is used. In IE8, when the transition fade happens, there is a brief moment where the image seems to be degraded where the graphics lose it's quality before it loads.
In FF it works fine, the transition looks correct and clean. Unfortunately I don't have the site online just yet so I can't send a url of the problem, but it looks terrible in IE8. Can anyone shed some light on this problem?
Can nobody help me with this? It's very odd. It looks great in FF but in IE when the image switches to the next image it's almost as though the graphic temporarily loads as a vector based bmp image, and not the smooth looking png image.
