I just recently installed Flash Builder 4 and was migrating a few projects over from FB3. I noticed FB4 has an alarming tendency to crash with an access violation whenever the autocomplete box pops up, which makes typing code nearly impossible. About 80% of the time, as soon as the yellow help box appears, I get the standard Windows "This application has stopped working..." message. The detailed information is included below; has anyone else experienced this?

Update: This also happens when I hover over a variable and the yellow pop-up box comes up with type information. Since this same box appears during autocomplete, I suspect it has something to do with it.
Can you please share your .log file. It will help us debug the issue further.
I think I figured out the issue -- I had upgraded to the Internet Explorer 9 Beta, which has new GPU rendering capabilities that apparently don't play nicely with my GPU. Apparently Flash Builder uses IE's Trident rendering engine to display the syntax help boxes. The issue had been occurring in other apps that use Trident too (e.g. Windows Help and Support and Google's Picasa).
Unchecking the GPU rendering option in Internet Explorer fixed the issue.
