    Make disabled color darker?

    learner_doug Level 1

      I would like my disabled color, such as in a Panel's disabled="false" color to be much darker, almost like 80 alpha on a black surface.  Now, it's kind of a chalky white color which is not very distinguishable from the other "enabled" objects.

      Help is appreciated.

      Thanks.

          Assuming you are referring to the Spark Panel and not MX, you can create a custom skin (by using a copy of the existing skin) and tweak this value:

          <s:SparkSkin xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009" xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"
              xmlns:fb="http://ns.adobe.com/flashbuilder/2009" blendMode="normal" mouseEnabled="false"
              minWidth="131" minHeight="127" alpha.disabled="0.5" alpha.disabledWithControlBar="0.5">
