    FileSystemTree

My Air application lets the user browse through his file system and upload files. To get this done i am using the FileSystemTree and provide a UI, which resembles the one that we get when use the explore options in windows, where desktop is the root tag, with a unique icon. I know we can change the icon in tree control based on the property of the data. I would like to know if there is a property that differentiates Desktop and My Computer from other file folders so that i can change the icon for these elements based on that property. Or is there a easier way of doing this ?

Check out the flash.filesystem class. I see there is a desktopDirectory property but I don't see one that corresponds to "My Computer". There are some other properties on File class you might find useful such as userDirectory.
