Just wondering if Adobe Reader 9.x has a way to insert a bookmark or placemark holder so that you may find your page easier... i have a good memory but sometimes it is short.
I find it very annoying to have to search through a 2500 page (pdf) document/file to find the last page I was reading. Does Adobe Reader have this capability or function to add a bookmark, etc...? Any solutions?
Try Adobe Reader X. It has Sticky notes and Highlighter tools available for free. You can add a sticky note acting as a bookmark and then when you reopen the document, reach out for your page by (looking the sticky note you added) searching in the Comments List shown in the Comment pane on the right hand side of the application.
Adding these tools has really enhanced Reader's ability
While the features mentioned may have enhanced Reader's usability, it's clunky when used as a bookmark, which should be a simple toggle action. Reader has been around long enough that basic bookmark functionality should have been standard years ago.
