Dynamic Link only works with the suite, no individual products. I would suggest to:
1. Deactivate all CS5 products.
2. Uninstall all CS5 products.
3. Run Clean Script CS5 two or three times, rebooting between each run. Run — Adobe CS5 Cleaner Tool
4. Install the Suite.
If i uninstall PPro CS5 will i be able to open my PPro projects with out any issues after reinstalling it?
Yes, no problem, your projects will remain intact.
I will have to reinstall the red r3d plug in
for the new colour science i gather.
Thanks for your help Harm.
Harms advice is good ...but it might just be worth trying a "Repair and Install" of Premiere from Prod Premiu
m Disks.before you go to all the trouble
Yes i'd prefer this. However my version of PPro is download only. I'm wondering if for DL to work all software need to be activated via the same serial number?
Do you think i will need to uninstall the premium applications i just installed? or just reinstall PPro from the premium disk and activate it with the same serial number as the other premium applications?
Re-installing with my suggestions is done within 20 minutes, so why take the risk that a repair install may not work? The registry entries delve pretty deep and it is better to make a clean install from the start than to modify an install, that may haunt you in the days to come.
I would also recommend deactivating PPro before you uninstall it.
