Use CFINCLUDE in a DWT file?

Can I use a CFINCLUDE in a DWT (dreamweaver template) file?
Does it need to be in an editable region?

If the template is for a cfm page, yes. Otherwise, no.
It shouldn't have to be in an editable region unless you need to be able to
modify it on individual pages.
