I'm having a problem I hope you can help me with.
This is the scenario:
I've made a simple "mini site" in flash catalyst where pretty much each page has a swf emdedded that I created in flash professional CS5. I've embeded them trough the file>import>swf. I then set an action: play swf for all the required states. Now when I run the project on ctrl + enter the swf files will automaticly play when you open the page, which is how I want it. However, when I publish the project and view it online this is not the case. The swf files will only start playing after you've visited them twice.

http://media-surfer.nl/you/flash/Main.html > Try the html file that catalyst generated.
http://media-surfer.nl/you/flash/Main.swf > Try the swf that catalyst generated.

I really hope someone can help me out on this one! Thanks a ton in advance
This seems to be a huge issue, and in fact is the reason I am on this board poking around
There are a few threads, but it seems swf is not a search term the forums allow.
It seems that every few days it comes up again in spades, because the issue is then not top-posted any longer.
Anyway, there are two answers... one is the the 'imported swf' is not actually embedded until load - otherwise it sits in your server.
(I think but anyway)
So the swf has to be in there, and also the swf has to be the right type of object.
I'm afraid catalyst is still a bit buggy around this issue, has to be one of the most important things to change.
oh and you have to actually 'play' the swf file, it doesn't happen on it's on
Do these help? I'm having the same issues...
Hard to believe this is not in the help files - or at least very clearly that I could find, seems a rather obvious application of Catalyst.
I don't think there applicable to my situation since the swf does show and even play's but only after visiting it for the second time...
