Elvstrings Dec 8, 2010 6:06 PM (in response to bluellipse)One possible reason, did you set to circle a blending mode such like darken, multiply, ... on transparency panel? Change it back to normal.

bluellipse Dec 8, 2010 6:44 PM (in response to Elvstrings)I appreciate you giving an answer. The transparency blending mode is normal. I even tried every option under transparency.
Any other ideas? Thanks.

Wade_Zimmerman Dec 8, 2010 7:16 PM (in response to bluellipse)Yes you have the color on the top set to overprint and probably overprint preview also tuned on.
to check select the object go to the attributes panel and see if the fill or stroke is set to overprint.

bluellipse Dec 8, 2010 8:58 PM (in response to Wade_Zimmerman)Again I appreicate your answer.
The colorspace is RGB so overprint is not an option. I also do not have overprint preview on. Could it be because I copy and pasted it from an older illustrator file?

Wade_Zimmerman Dec 8, 2010 9:44 PM (in response to bluellipse)In RGB overprint only effects spot colors, however since you do not have overprint preview i cannot see how this could be , so I agree with you.
